Super tasty and authentic Italian food! Always happy to come back!

Since there is no still water in this restaurant, I decided to use tap water. The bill charged € 1 for it, which I find a little outrageous. I said this to the waitress and got the following answer: As soon as she turned on the tap, she had to pay for it and also wash the glass. However, if I needed a glass of water for a pill, I wouldn't have to pay for it. Doesn't she have to rinse the glass then? And when you consider that 500 liters of tap water cost around € 1, that's damned outrageous! The friendliness of the boss also left a lot to be desired! The food is average.

Motivated by the consistently above-average reviews to eat there, the disillusionment followed relatively quickly. Four dishes, all of which were prepared more conveniently, tasted rather poor than inspiring. This may be due to the current circumstances and thus possibly excusable. But then the prices should also be corrected downwards accordingly. Three points for being nice and friendly.

Food very good, but an incredible, exceptional, almost amazing rude service (hostess). The lady seems to hate her guests .. If that does not matter or who takes that for the good food in Kauif can go dorhin confidently. If you are looking for a polite ambience to eat, you should try to visit the shop when temporary workers serve.

The door opens in Montecelli and you feel like you're in a typical Italian osteria. Here families, friends, couples, young and old come together to eat well. A nice atmosphere and above all the delicious scent of real Italian cuisine floats. Here you can see exactly who has learned his craft from scratch. We will be back!!

We were there with about 10 people a week. The welcome was completely off. The cards were left loveless and wordless on the table. The drinks came very late. The food, by the way, too. The chef is all alone in the kitchen here. When there was another table to serve, it was not possible to order more drinks for about 45 minutes. There were only drinks once in the evening - unfortunately still strong on the border to unfriendliness! I do not know why this store in Mettingen holds so long - certainly not by a friendly, courteous appearance or by prompt serving of food and drinks. The restaurant is probably owner-managed! Therefore, one feels too proud to let down to a request, thanks or even smile. We were definitely here for the last time.

I've heard a lot of good things about the restaurant, the food is said to be very good. Last weekend I wanted to see for myself and was happy that we got a table at short notice. The waitress (owner!) Was anything but happy. She didn't know the time of day and we were only ignored. Later she came to our table, put the cards down for us without a word and left. Beverages? We were thirsty just apparently nobody wanted to know. We quickly decided on pasta and a salad. The waitress came to the table, took the order and informs us with the usual rudeness that it will take a good hour before the food can be served. With a friendly smile I said that we have time and in the meantime we can already enjoy the salad. A poisonous look combined with the words that there will be no salad beforehand has already taken our appetite away. When the comment came that we could happily go again, we were almost no longer hungry. We followed this "nice" request and left the restaurant. I would have liked to have tried some delicious food, but this kind of food was thrown out and my interest is now zero! So if you want delicious Italian cuisine with friendly service then you can very well recommend the competition in Recke.

The food is very good, but I had to wait a long time for both visits. This is probably because the cook is alone in the kitchen and does everything himself.
